Template for Reservoirs of the Coosa River

  • Lee, can you create a template for Reservoirs of the Coosa River, based on the chart at the bottom of the page of the Lake Mitchell article? I'd like it to look it a template before I add it to the Lay Lake article, plus it might tempt me to write the articles for the other reservoirs. --Wheresdib 07:10, 19 January 2008 (PST)
    • How about one for the whole Coosa River? It still needs many additions, but I don't know enough about the river and which features are in the Birmingham district to make them. In addition to what is visible, there's a placeholder for tributaries. --Lkseitz 11:47, 20 January 2008 (PST)
      • Thanks! I didn't think about the dams, that's a great idea. I'll have to look at the maps again, but I think the only one out of the District will be Jordan Lake. --Wheresdib 19:24, 20 January 2008 (PST)

On AAM

I appreciate you making the page for "Alabama Art Monthly." It was definitely a labor of love and a great publication that brought the arts together like never before in the state and it was very much enjoyed but the powers that be decided against it so it went by the wayside since I could no longer afford to foot the bill. --Artsojourner 14:25, 20 February 2008 (PST)

No problem. You wrote the article; I just separated it from Agnes. It started out with "Birmingham" in the name, so it seemed worthy of a full entry. --Lkseitz 14:35, 20 February 2008 (PST)

Linearstone et al

I knew I was procrastinating on cleaning up those articles for a reason. --Wheresdib 08:28, 19 May 2008 (PDT)

  • Mikey? That's me. What the heck am I talking about? Well....

"What's this stuff?"
"Some article that needs work. It's supposed to be a valuable addition to BhamWiki."
"Are you gonna fix it?""
"I'm not gonna fix it! You fix it!"
"I'm not gonna fix it."
"Let's get Lee, he'll fix anything."
:-) --Lkseitz 10:25, 19 May 2008 (PDT)

  • He likes it, he likes it!!! I was just telling Dystopos last night that if he or I didn't edit those articles soon that you would do it the next time you signed on to the site, and boy was I right!! --Wheresdib 10:45, 19 May 2008 (PDT)

Address

The address you found is a small apartment complex next to the Vestavia Post Office and is the same as the one I found from the State Dept. listing. --Dystopos 09:03, 19 May 2008 (PDT)

  • Oops. When you said "residence," it was "house" that came to my mind, not apartment. So when I saw the address right off a major highway, adjacent to retail, and not a house, I made a bad assumption. If I'd looked closer, the lack of parking lot space should have tipped me off. Sorry. (Explains why you'd "missed" it.) --Lkseitz 10:14, 19 May 2008 (PDT)

Dept. of Redundancy Department

  • I hereby formalize and make formal your appointment as head of the Department of Redundancy Department by formally naming you as the head of it. The project benefits greatly from your efforts at culling redundancies and removing them, which greatly benefit the project greatly. --Dystopos 08:45, 12 June 2008 (PDT)
    • I concur and agree that redundant phrases and repeated redunant wording is what you have a penchant for, Lee, you are good at it. --Wheresdib 08:58, 12 June 2008 (PDT)
      • I don't know what to say. I'm speechless, words escape me, and I am dumbstruck. Your sudden compliments, surprising kudos, unanticipated praises, unexpected tributes, and unforeseen accolades have made me inarticulate. Thanks. --Lkseitz 09:45, 12 June 2008 (PDT)

Your opinion?

We are anxiously awaiting your opinion at Talk:Alabama Wildlife Center. --Wheresdib 18:37, 6 August 2008 (PDT)

  • Yeah, I know. I'm trying to figure out what it is. --Lkseitz 19:50, 6 August 2008 (PDT)
