Viaduct Spook-a-delic

The Viaduct Spook-a-delic was a concert event attended by over 7,500 on the 24th Street Viaduct from 6:30 p.m. through midnight on Saturday, October 28, 1995. The event was organized by Trevor Hale, Wesley Calhoun and Rusty Luquire of Operation New Birmingham in September 1995. Neal Davis Architects and Crawford, McWilliams, Hatcher developed gates for the event similar to those used for City Stages.

Initially expected to only draw between 1,500 to 2,000, the event drew over 7,500. Tickets cost $5. The five bands that performed at the event included:
