Vineyard Brands Inc. is a Birmingham-based, employee-owned wine importer and wholesaler. With $122 million in revenues in 2016 and 23 local employees, it ranks as the 35th largest private companies in the city.

Vineyard Brands was founded by Robert Haas in 1971 in a barn in Chester, Vermont. Two decades later, Haas named Jerry Neff as president and instituted an employee stock purchase plan. In 1997 the company relocated to 2000 Resource Drive at Meadow Brook Office Park in Inverness. Attorney and certified sommelier Greg Doody succeeded Neff as president and CEO in December 2013.

In 2017 Vineyard Brands moved into 7,272 square feet in downtown's Two North Twentieth building.
