WQOH-AM

WQOH-AM (Queen of Heaven Catholic Radio) is a radio station owned by EWTN and features Catholic programming from sunup to sundown daily. It broadcasts on frequency AM 1480. It began airing on July 21, 2008.

The station broadcasts programming from EWTN, which provides programming for about 120 Catholic radio stations across the nation. The non-profit orgainization paid $500,000 for the license to the frequency, purchased from Davidson Broadcasting, which is based in Charlotte and New York City. Davidson had been broadcasting Hispanic programming on the frequency, under the call letters WRLM, for more than a year.
