Walking on Water Christian Church (WOW Christian Church) is an independent church founded in 2001 by Karnie Smith, former pastor of St John's AME Church. The church met at the former Trailways Bus Station in Birmingham for four years before purchasing and renovating the former Center Point 6 theater at 2321 Carson Road in Birmingham, just west of Center Point.

The church held two morning worship services and averaged about 2,500 attendees each week. The church also operated the Bright Star Academy day care center with approximately 100 students.

In 2007 CapFinancial Properties foreclosed on the church but agreed to a lease arrangement. In 2010 the church was evicted from the property after missing several monthly payments. Smith was arrested for disorderly conduct during the eviction proceedings. The building was later used by Rebirth Christian Fellowship.

Walking on Water Christian Church currently meets at the Edge 12 cinema at the Crestwood Festival Center.
