We Have Signal

We Have Signal is a statewide concert program produced in Birmingham by Alabama Public Television beginning in 2008. The half-hour program is recorded live at Bottletree and features new music from regional and national bands. The show airs on Thursday nights at 10 PM with re-broadcasts on Sunday evenings at 11:00 and in the slot following the next week's new show at 10:30. All episodes are available for online viewing.

The show is produced by J. Whitson and Matt Whitson with technical help from Justin Gaar, Chris Holmes and Paul Rogers. In 2009 the show won a regional Emmy award fro "Outstanding Achievement in Audio, Recorded in Live-and Post-production" and three Telly Awards in the entertainment, sound/sound design and videography/cinematography categories.
