Weathertech Distributing Co. Inc. is a privately-owned supplier of Carrier heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment. The president and CEO is Spencer Atkins.
WeatherTech was founded in 1973 and acquired by the Atkins family in 1989. In 2020 the company reported revenues of $35.4 million and 105 employees.
Until 2021, WeatherTech operated from a 36,000 square-foot facility at 501 28th Street Irondale. That year the company moved to the 92,800 square-foot former Long Electronics building at 2630 5th Avenue South Irondale.
