The West Homewood Community Development Review Committee (West Homewood CDRC) is a board incorporated by the City of Homewood on April 28, 2015 to review development proposals and recommend public improvements in the West Homewood District, just west of I-65 along Oxmoor Road from Oxmoor Boulevard to Oak Grove Road, including Scott Street.

The committee is made up of Mayor Scott McBrayer, city engineer Vanessa McGrath, fire marshal Rusty McCombs, a Homewood City Council representative, and a Homewood Planning Commission representative.

The committee is empowered to review subdivision and new construction proposals for conformance with the zoning code and form-based design requirements passed by the City Council and outlined in the "West Homewood District Illustrative Plan". The guidelines aim to gradually transform the district into an attractive, pedestrian-friendly commercial "village". The CDRC can grant "warrants" for minor deviations from the guidelines.

The first project to fall under the CRDC's jurisdiction was a proposal to renovate and expand the Econo Lodge Oxmoor
