The William E. Burkett Multi-Handicapped Center is a specialized school for severely-handicapped students, Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade, in the Jefferson County Schools system. It is located at 8601 Old Highway 31 in Morris. The principal is Daniel Roth.

The center opened in 1977 as the Springdale Multi-Handicapped Center, located at 50 Long Street in Ketona.

In 2012 the center was relocated to the former Mortimer Jordan High School in Morris. On October 3 of that year, the center held an open house at the new location. The $2.5 renovation provided 14 classrooms, two physical therapy rooms, a media center, gymnasium, and "daily living unit" with kitchen and laundry areas. The site also includes two playgrounds.

On July 24, 2013, William Burkett, former Jefferson County Schools superintendent and namesake of the center died.
