William Wilson (born 1937 in Philadephia, Pennsylvania) is a bishop in the Anglican Church of the Americas, consecrated March 29, 2008 at Hodges Chapel at Samford University's Beeson Divinity School.

Wilson grew up in inner-city Philadelphia. At 19 he entered a Trappist order. He spent 25 years as a monk, including 7 years in solitary devotion as a hermit, after which he became a chaplain and confessor to a convent and then a novice master at a monastery.

In 1981 Wilson moved to the Andes Mountains of Bolivia as a missionary and founded the Amistad Mission, which supports a school, medical clinic and orphanage in Cochabomba. In 1989 he married a missionary doctor Susan Winchester and became a member of the Episcopal Church and was ordained a priest in the Diocese of Bolivia. He went on to complete a Doctorate in Ministry from Drew University in Madison, New Jersey and then became director of the Spiritual Life Ministry Foundation in Birmingham. He and his wife have adopted two children.
