Willine Body

Willine Moore-Body (born April 9, 1946) is the owner of Housing Quality Standards Inspection Services which performs inspections required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for public housing. She is also a minister at Greater Temple Missionary Baptist Church and president of the Graymont Neighborhood Association.

Body moved into the Elyton Village public housing project in the 1980s. She was elected vice-president of the neighborhood association in 2002 and has served as president since 2012.

Body qualified as a candidate for Birmingham City Council District 6 in the 2019 Birmingham special election, challenging incumbent appointee Crystal Smitherman.
