Woodlawn Church of God (Georgia Road)

Woodlawn Church of God (Georgia Road) was a Pentecostal church affiliated with the Church of God (Cleveland, TN) denomination located on the northeast corner of Georgia Road and 53rd Street North in Woodlawn from the mid-1940s until the mid-1970s. Initially the church was addressed as 951 53rd Street North. In the early 1960s a new brick building was erected facing Georgia Road and the address became 5300 Georgia Road. The congregation closed or moved in the mid 1970s and the building was sold to Healing Spring Baptist Church in 1976.
