YP LLC building
The YP LLC building is a 4-story, 64,000-square foot office and printing press building located at 200 Missionary Ridge Drive off Brook Highland Parkway.
The building was constructed in 1983 as a regional headquarters for the BellSouth Advertising & Publishing Corporation.
In 2014, using the authority granted under Amendment 772, the Shelby County Commission reached an incentives agreement with YP LLC to convey the building and 10-acre property to the company for $1 and provide $450,000 in cash in exchange for the company's pledge to invest $1.7 million in renovations, to employ at least 360 full-time workers with an average annual compensation of at least $59,000 by the end of 2015.
Dex Media, Inc. of Dallas, Texas acquired YP LLC in 2017 and operated as DexYP. They vacated the building in October 2019, and the property was put up for auction in December of that year.
