YWoodlawn is an affordable housing program undertaken by the YWCA of Central Alabama as part of a larger coordinated plan for the revitalization of the Woodlawn neighborhood.

Several existing small apartment complexes near the YWCA's new Interfaith Hospitality House have been remodeled for the project, including Dansby Court, Kelly's Court, Sullivan Square and Harbor Apartments. In addition a former convenience store is being reopened as a family resource center and a community garden is planned for the corner of 60th Street South and Georgia Road.

$11 million so far invested in the project has come from the YWCA and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, through the Birmingham Department of Community Development.
