Carma Jude

Carma A. Jude (born c. 1974 in Ferriday, Louisiana) is a former executive director of the Jefferson County Economic and Industrial Development Authority.

Jude earned her bachelor's degree in finance and real estate at Louisiana Tech University and her master's in business administration at the University of Memphis. She worked in commercial real estate in Memphis for eleven years before joining the County's economic development arm in 2006. She was promoted to director, succeeding Deborah McGill, in 2008.

Jude left her position in 2011 to move to Mississippi where her husband, Eric, took a job. Ted vonCannon succeeded her in February 2012.
