Several sources give his stage name as "Country Boy Eddy", however there is a photograph of the tv set in Tim Hollis' ''Birmingham Broadcasting'' which shows "Country Boy Eddie" written out in rope letters as part of the set. *** Ed Reynolds used the "Eddy" spelling in the article from his recent interview. It seems to me Burns probably didn't much care either way.
