The 2017 Fairfield tornado was a damaging tornado that took place during the afternoon of June 22, 2017 in Fairfield. It was part of a storm system spawned by Tropical Storm Cindy.

In Fairfield the tornado caused injuries to four people and damage to several structures in the vicinity of Weibel Drive and Dr M. L. K. Boulevard, including an ABC Store, a KFC restaurant, a small strip mall, an Express Oil Change, Fairfield Fire Station No. 2, and numerous buildings in the Fairfield Housing Authority's Mattie Gill Jones Gardens apartment community. Fairfield contracted with the Wright Way Company to perform clean-up services.

Elsewhere in the region, wind damaged the former Jim Burke auto dealership in Ensley and downed power lines, leaving as many as 12,000 households and businesses without service immediately after the storm.
