The 2018 Southern League All-Star Game (the 46th annual) was played on Tuesday June 19, 2018 at Regions Field in Birmingham's Parkside district. The Southern League's southern division plated four runs in the 9th to win 9-5 before a sellout crowd of 8,500.

Wetumpka's Wind Creek Casino & Hotel sponsored a pre-game "All-Star Gala" at Good People Brewing Company. Jamey Johnson performed the national anthem, which was followed by an F-16 flyover by Montgomery's 187th Fighter Wing. Actor Dennis Quaid and his dog Peaches appeared at the event, and Quaid threw out the first pitch.

Mobile outfielder Zach Gibbons went 3-for-3 with three singles, three runs and four RBIs, including two RBIs and the final run in the 9th. He was named the game's Most Valuable Player. Biloxi pitcher Quintin Torres-Costa came on in relief in the bottom of the 8th and was given the win after facing seven batters.

Birmingham was represented on the north division all-star team by catcher Zack Collins (1-3, 1 RBI), Eloy Jiminez (1-3), Seby Zavala (1-2) and Danny Mendick (2-4). Collins also won the pre-game Home Run Derby.
