2020 Iron Bowl

The 2020 Iron Bowl took place on Saturday November 28, 2020 at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa. The top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide defeated the number 22-ranked Auburn Tigers by a score of 42-13.

It was the 85th contest in the series. Alabama came in with a 45-37-1 advantage. Alabama head coach Nick Saban was not present due to testing positive and showing symptoms of COVID-19. Offensive Coordinator Steve Sarkisian served as interim head coach for the game, which due to social distancing precautions for the coronavirus, saw a modern low attendance record of 19,424.
