2222 Arlington, also known as the 2222 building, originally the Bayer Properties building, is an office building constructed in 1976 at 2222 Arlington Avenue in Birmingham's Redmont Park neighborhood. The building was acquired by and became the headquarters offices for Bayer Properties in the 1980s.

Bayer relocated to 2200 Magnolia Avenue in 2020. Former Bayer principal David Silverstein of FiveStone Group proposed in late 2019 to demolish the building along with the adjoining Sycamore Manor apartments in order to develop a new $80 million 10-story mixed-use project with a boutique hotel, luxury condominiums and a spa with the D&A Cos. of New York City.

That proposal was met with some backlash from neighborhood residents. The Birmingham Zoning Advisory Committee recommended not re-zoning the apartment property and applying an 80-foot height limit to the office parcel. In November 2020 Silverstein announced a smaller-scale $30–35 million proposal to renovate the existing office building for a new corporate headquarters tenant, and construct a new 30-unit condominium building alongside it.

In March 2021 it was announced that Atlas Senior Living would be the lead tenant in an $18 million redevelopment of the existing 55,000 square-foot building. FiveStone Partnered with the D&A Companies of New York on the renovation, designed by KPS Group and carried out by Hoar Construction. The condominium project was postponed for a future phase of development.

In October 2021 D&A announced that it had landed a second headquarters office and network operations center for Austin, Texas-based Shipshape to the project and planned to commence construction of a $20 million renovation in early 2022. In November D&A announced that they would also move forward with a $30–40 million, 28-unit luxury condominium building, called "The Tramont", on the remainder of the site. In June 2022 Gresham Smith architects announced they would relocate their offices to 2222 Arlington from the Grandview II building.

The redevelopment project was awarded $2.1 million in public incentives by the Industrial Development Board.
