Act of Alabama No. 2022-133 was a state law passed during the 2022 Alabama legislative session and signed by Governor Kay Ivey on March 10, 2022, which eliminated the requirements for a permit and background check in order to carry a concealed handgun.

The bill was sponsored by Representative Shane Stringer (R-Mobile County). It was supported by the National Rifle Association, and opposed by the Alabama Sheriffs Association and the Alabama Chapter of Moms Demand Action. It went into effect on January 1, 2023.

With implementation of the law, Alabama became the 24th state to eliminate a requirement for concealed carry permits. A provision of the law created a "Local Government Pistol Revenue Loss Fund" to soften the blow to Sheriff's Departments that relied on the sale of concealed carry permits for revenues, but set the fund to sunset after a four-year period.
