The Alabama Peanut Co. (formerly the Alabama Boiled Peanut Co.) is a peanut business and retail shop located at 2016 Morris Avenue, in the space formerly occupied by the Peanut Depot from the 1940s to 2016, and Peanut Place from 2016 to 2018.

The business was founded in late 2016 by Jaime Thursby with his brother-in-law Darrel Graff to supply roasted and boiled peanuts for the monthly market held by his family's On a Shoestring Antiques in Bluff Park. They expanded by selling peanuts at area breweries and farmers' markets.

In early 2018 Thursby reached an agreement with John Cassimus to take over the historic Morris Avenue space which his family formerly leased to the Peanut Depot and had been continuing to operate themselves as the Peanut Place.

The new business held a grand opening in June of that year. It uses the original 1907 roasting equipment still in the space for its unsalted roasted peanuts. In addition to roasted, boiled and flavored peanuts, the Alabama Peanut Co. offers a range of branded merchandise.

The Alabama Peanut Co. is a regular vendor at Pepper Place Saturday Market, and also stocked a department at Ore Mercantile.
