Alabama State Senate District 21 is an Alabama State Senate district which covers parts all of Pickens County and parts of Tuscaloosa County which include the northern parts of the city of Tuscaloosa and the southwestern part of the county bordering Bibb County. It includes Reform, Gordo, Carrollton, Coker, Brookwood, Vance, Coaling and Lake View.

Until redistricting following the 2020 U.S. Census the district included all of Lamar County, but only half of Pickens County. After redistricting, that northern extremity was removed from the district while its western portion was extended southward along the Mississippi state line to the Sipsey River, picking up Pickensville and Aliceville.

District 19 is currently represented by Gerald Allen who defeated incumbent Phil Poole in the 2010 general election. He was re-elected in 2014 and 2018, and is running for a fourth term in the 2022 general election.
