Alabaster Boulevard is a 1.8-mile road connecting Weatherly Club Drive in Pelham to the Propst Promenade shopping center in Alabaster, providing a shortcut for residents of the Weatherly and Ballantrae subdivisions trying to get to Interstate 65. The road opened on February 22, 2007 after a temporary stop sign was installed.

The road had a working name of Weatherly Connector Road. Completion of the road was delayed by the presence of fiber optic telephone lines in the path of the last 100-foot section of road. The issue was resolved in December 2006. Plans call for Alabaster Boulevard to eventually extend all the way south to U.S. Highway 31 once Alabaster secures an easement from the owner of the property along the planned route.
