Amber Jerkia Jones (born May 20, 1991 in Sheffield) is a former UAB Blazers women's basketball player and a professional point guard for CS Universitatea Cluj-Napoca in Romania's national league.

Amber is the daughter of Don and Amberlene Jones. She was a four-year letter winner and class valedictorian at Hazlewood High School and was named Class 1A Player of the Year when she led her Golden Bears team to the 2009 AHSAA state championship. She also excelled in volleyball, track and field, and softball. She signed a scholarship to play for UAB and enrolled as an exercise science major.

Jones made an immediate impact for the Blazers, scoring in double figures in her first game as a freshman. She was named Conference USA Freshman of the Week and scored a season-high 23 with four assists against 3-seeded Southern Methodist in the C-USA tournament. As a sophomore she led UAB in scoring with 12.5 points per game. In her third year she earned 2nd team All C-USA honors while averaging 12.9 points per game and 2.9 assists per game. Despite off-season wrist surgery, Jones continued to contribute as a senior, averaging 12.9 points per game and finishing 10th on the Blazer's all-time scoring list.
