Assassin (film)
Assassin (previously titled 'Die Like Lovers and Soul Assassin') is a 2023 feature film directed by Jesse Atlas and starring Bruce Willis, Dominic Purcell, Nomzamo Mbatha, Eugenia Kuzmina, Andy Allo, Christian Rodrigo and Fernanda Andrade.
The plot for the science fiction / action film is based on Atlas' 2017 short "Let Them Die Like Lovers," about an assassin who inhabits different bodies. The scripts for both films were co-written by Atlas and Aaron Wolfe. Brickell & Broadbridge International produced the film along with Endless Media.
Filming in the Birmingham area took place in June 2021. North American distribution rights for the film were acquired by Saban Films in July of that year. It was released in theaters and on-demand on March 31, 2023.
