Aww Shucks

Aww Shucks is a food truck established in 2020 by Phillip and Avrie Powell. The business specializes in fire-roasted corn on the cob with gourmet toppings, and also served baked potatoes with skillet corn and other toppings.

In September 2021 the Powell family set a Guinness world record by shucking 38 corn cobs in one minute. A second location opened at 4120 Messer Airport Highway in North Avondale in December 2022, following the "Aww Shucks Fall Festival" at Cahaba Brewing Company.

In January 2024 the Powells made franchise opportunities available.
