Axel Row Apartments

Axel Row Apartments is a 96-unit apartment complex located at 4201–4231 and 4241–4261 3rd Avenue South, flanking the Avondale III Apartments in Forest Park-South Avondale.

Dobbins Group acquired the parcels for the new development, which are in a designated Opportunity Zone, for $1.5 million in August 2020. They commissioned design services from B Group Architecture and contracted with Arlington Construction Services to build the two buildings. The branding for the property and a 4-story painted mural on the western end of the complex were designed by Micahel Vizzina of FRED Communication by Design. The mural was executed by Andrew Tynes] of Mammoth Murals.
