Bentina Chisolm Terry

Bentina Chisolm Terry is general counsel, vice president of external affairs, compliance officer and corporate secretary for Southern Nuclear Operating Company, a division of Southern Company.

Terry has a bachelor degree in English from North Carolina State University and a juris doctorate from the University of Michigan Law School. She previously worked in employment law at Troutman Sanders in Atlanta, and was associate general counsel for Progress Energy Service Company in Raliegh, North Carolina. She started working for Georgia Power in 2001 before being transferred to Birmingham.

Terry is also a volunteer mentor with the Birmingham YWCA Women's Leadership Program. She is married to Antonio M. Terry.
