Bernard Clement "Cutie" Cain (born January 25, 1911; died February 5, 1948 in Birmingham) was paralyzed in a streetcar accident and became a fixture waving at passersby from the front window of his home at 966 52nd Place North in Woodlawn.

Cain was the the 6th of 11 children born to Eugene Delone and Mary Frances Woods Cain.

Cain was 17 when he was struck by a streetcar at 5th Avenue North and 26th Street, in front of Birmingham Terminal Station. He was crushed to the curb, breaking his spine. He spent his days watching the street out the front window of his house; waving and smiling at those who looked his way. The passing streetcar driver took to slowing as he passed by so that Cain could greet all the passengers.

Cain's health declined from his immobility, and in early 1948 he was beset by abdominal pains. He was brought to St Vincent's Hospital, but did not improve and died there.

Cain was survived by his parents, 6 brothers and 1 sister. His funeral was held at St Clement's Catholic Church and he was buried at Forest Hill Cemetery.
