The Birmingham Amtrak Station (BHM) is a passenger train station located at 1819 Morris Avenue in downtown Birmingham. It serves Amtrak's Crescent line which connects New York City and New Orleans, Louisiana with one stop in each direction daily. It is the only stop between Anniston and Tuscaloosa. It is by far the most heavily used Amtrak station in Alabama. 45,089 passengers used the station in 2010, up from 32,853 in 2005 and 32,535 in 2004.

Amtrak's waiting room and other operations are concentrated below the train platforms, which are on the north side of the Railroad Reservation at 18th Street North. The nearby L & N Station (1960) at 1825 Morris Avenue was formerly used by the carrier, but is now vacant.
