Birmingham District Brewing Company is a micro-brewery that opened in November 2018 in The Battery at the corner of 2nd Avenue South and 22nd Street South. It was established by Cale Sellers and head brewer James Sumpter. In its logo and many of its beer names it pays tribute to Birmingham’s mining heritage.
