Bolaji Kukoyi

Mobolaji O. Kukoyi (born April 4, 1980 in Lagos, Nigeria) is an engineer and the founder and president of Dynamic Civil Solutions, an engineering firm focused on infrastructure projects.

Kukoyi, the younger brother of Birmingham VA Medical Center executive director Oladipo Kukoyi, came to Birmingham in 1998 to study engineering and mathematics at UAB, taking advantage of scholarship funds available through the Mathematics Fast Track Program. He became close friends with fellow Nigerians Stephen Odaibo and Shegun Otulana. He completed a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and a bachelor's and master's in mathematics. He founded his company in Maylene in 2007.

Kukoyi was also the owner of Jacob's Corner Event Center and Madison's Place, named for his children, on Plaza Circle in Alabaster.

Kukoyi has served on the alumni boards of the UAB College of Arts & Sciences, and on the board of trustees for the Cahaba River Society. He was a member of the 2021 Leadership Birmingham class.
