Boy Scout Troop 413 is a Boy Scouts of America troop in the Greater Alabama Council which was chartered in 1989 in Mount Olive. It is a part of the Three Rivers District in northern Jefferson County.
History
The Troop was started in 1989 at the Mt. Olive Alliance Church on McCravy Lane in Mt. Olive by Larry Pharr. In the early 1990's a Cub Scout pack was formed and was chartered along with the troop.
The troop moved to their present location at Mt Olive United Methodist Church (now GracePoint at Mt Olive) in 1996. In 2009, the Venture Crew was started to help keep the boys that attained their Eagle Scout rank involved in Scouting and to be mentors to younger Scouts. The Venture Crew was not recharted in 2014 due to lack of interest.
