John E. Bryan Elementary School is a K-5 elementary school in the Jefferson County Schools system. It is located at 600 Kimberly Cut Off Road off of Stouts Road between Morris and Kimberly. It was named for former Jefferson County superintendent of schools John Bryan.
The school has approximately 838 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Christy Hamilton is the principal. The school's colors are blue and white and its mascot is the Blue Devils.
In 2008 one of three buses operated by Adventure Bus Charter and Tours of Sumiton to carry Bryan Elementary School students to visit the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga flipped over on I-59 near Springville after the 75-year-old driver apparently passed out. Twenty children were injured in the incident.
