Byrd Park is a Vestavia Hills city park located on Tyson Drive off Montgomery Highway across from Vestavia Hills East Elementary School. It was named after developer Charles Byrd, who developed several of the city's original neighborhoods. The park consists of a walking track, playground area, and picnic tables.

During the April 27, 2011 tornado outbreak, the park was heavily damaged. Resident Grant Gardner, owner of Gardner Landscaping, spent over a year revitalizing the park back to its original condition. Gardner's employees brought in 10,000 square feet of bermuda grass sod and and 15,000 square feet of wheat straw. Gardner also added seven new trees to the site. In all, his company contributed $7,800 in renovations.
