Center Point Fire Station No. 1 (2006) at 2233 Center Point Parkway in Center Point is the flagship fire station for the Center Point Fire District. The new Station 1 was dedicated on September 11, 2006 and is located across the street from the original station. It is located adjacent to the Center Point City Hall, which took over the former Center Point School location. The front entrance to Station 1 features a stone arch similar to the facade of the school building. The Fire District headquarters are located next to the station, in the school's former gymnasium. Fire Station 1 houses Engine 1 (1998 Pierce Dash), Rescue 1 (2004 Ford F350) and Batallion 1 (2004 Ford Expedition), among other vehicles. Its reponse area is Center Point and portions of Pinson, Chalkville, and unincorporated areas of Huffman.
