Chace Lake Villas
Chace Lake Villas is an apartment complex off Lorna Road in unincorporated Jefferson County, south of the Riverchase Galleria and north of the Cahaba River. The road running through the complex is called Chace Lake Parkway. Adjacent property to the east and south has been annexed by Hoover.
The complex consists of approximately 24 2- and 3-story apartment buildings containing a total of 264 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom apartments, plus the office building and garages. Amenities include a swimming pool, fitness center, and lighted combination tennis/basketball court.
The complex was purchased by North Carolina-based Bell Partners Inc. from Davis Development in 2002 for $17 million. The company also bought the adjacent Barrington on the Green complex in 2003, but later sold it. On September 28, 2012, Bell Partners sold the complex to New York-based Bluerock Real Estate for $14.1 million, but Bell will continue to manage it.
