Chris Graves

Chris Graves (born c. 1975 in Fort Worth, Texas) is the head coach of the Birmingham-Southern College Panthers men's basketball team.

Graves, an assistant coach under Mitch Cole, assumed the job after Cole left in June 2011 for an assistant coaching job in the Big 12 Conference.

Graves graduated from John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas in 1999. He was a graduate assistant coach at his alma mater in his last year there, and also coached Siloam Springs Junior High.

Graves worked on the staff of the University of Arkansas while completing his master's degree from 1999 to 2001. He later became an assistant at Tennessee State University. He was a head coach at Columbia Central High School in Columbia, Tennessee and at Pell City High School before joining the Birmingham-Southern staff in 2008.

Graves and his wife, Merin, have one son, Bryce.
