Clayne Crawford

Joey "Clayne" Crawford (born April 20, 1978 in Clay) is an actor who has appeared in several films and as Kevin Wade in the FOX television series "24".

Crawford is the son of Brian and Lennie Crawford. He played football and wrestled at Hewitt-Trussville High School, graduating in 1996 before striking out for Hollywood. He had a bit part in the television series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", but struggled for years, working construction and performing on small stages. After adopting the name "Clayne" (for his hometown and an ancestor named "Clan"), he landed a role in the 2002 film A Walk to Remember.

Since then Crawford has appeared in the films Swimfan (2002), A Love Song for Bobby Long (2004), The Great Raid (2005) and Burn Notice (2010), as well as in several straight-to-video productions. He played many small roles on television (in "Jericho", "Cold Case", "Dark Blue", and "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation", among others) before landing the recurring rule of Wade on "24".

Crawford is married to shoe designer Sunshine Kiki Brown. The couple has two children, Abby and Colt.

After "24", Crawford went on to star in Ray McKinnon's SundanceTV series "Rectify". In 2014, he starred in the feature film Tinker, which was filmed in his house and at other locations in his hometown of Clay.
