Coleman Knupp & Dice
Coleman Knupp & Dice LLC, formerly Coleman, Knupp & Peters LLC, was a forensic meteorology consulting firm founded in 2009 by University of Alabama at Huntsville researchers Tim Coleman, Kevin Knupp with ABC 33/40 meteorologist Brian Peters. The firm specialized in performing forensic weather analyses and providing expert testimony to attorneys across the southeastern United States. The business operated from Coleman's home in Trussville.
In 2012 WBRC-TV chief meteorologist James-Paul Dice joined the firm. From 2019 to 2022 Coleman Knupp & Dice published a weather blog (link).
Dice left his broadcasting job at WBRC to become a full-time corporate pilot on 2021.
In 2024 the firm was acquired by WeatherBELL Analytics of New York City. Coleman and Knupp both joined that company as members of its forensic meteorology team.
