CommerceOne Bank is a proposed new bank. Founding officers include CEO Kenneth Till and president Art Freeman, along with J. David Sizemore as chief lending officer and W. Scott Matthews as chief credit officer. The management team includes several veterans of First Partners Bank and Oakworth Capital Bank.

The startup, with a mailing address at 2100 2100 Southbridge Parkway Suite 385, won approval from the Alabama State Banking Department in 2018.
