The DC BLOX Birmingham Data Center is a multi-tenant data center located on the 27-acre "Trinity Park" brownfield site at 433 6th Street South, near Memorial Park in South Titusville. DC BLOX, which is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, purchased the property from the City of Birmingham in 2018 for $600,000. The project was approved for public incentives from the Birmingham Industrial Development Board and other authorities.

Pieper O'Brien Herr Architects of Atlanta designed the facility, which was constructed by Brasfield & Gorrie. The initial 31,000 square-foot building, opened on June 3, 2019 and formally dedicated on July 11, includes 18,000 square feet of server space, along with 13,000 square feet for offices, hoteling cubes, and conference facilities. DC BLOX anticipates that the center, which it considers a "flagship facility" in its planned network of data centers in the Southeastern United States, can be expanded to 200,000 square feet, representing a potential investment of up to $785 million.

The building is designed to withstand winds of up to 150 miles per hour, and is equipped with generators and on-site fuel tanks to allow for continuous operation during electrical power outages. The facility is secured behind a perimeter fence with multi-level access controls and security staff on site 24 hours a day.

In 2020 the City of Birmingham contracted with DC BLOX to host its data center. The city expects to save $1.5 million over the cost of expanding its data center in-house during the three-year contract term.

DC BLOX purchased another 15.6-acre parcel adjoining its data center, through its DCB Land Acquisition subsidiary, in April 2021. The company announced an expansion in 2022 that would extend its data storage and high-performance computing in a "flex space" design. That project was completed in early 2024.
