The DeShazo Crane Co. is a Bessemer-based designer, manufacturer and servicer of overhead bridge cranes, gantry cranes and industrial hoists and runways used in manufacturing, fabrication, materials handling and logistics. The company was founded in 1974 by Lehman DeShazo. Its president is Guy Mitchell III and its offices are located in the Wellington Industrial Park at 200 Kilsby Circle, abutting Shades Creek.

The company operates production facilities at 5500 Parkwest Drive in Bessemer, Airpark Industrial Road in Alabaster, and on Cedar Lake Road in Decatur. It also has offices in Houston, Texas; Indianapolis, Indiana; Atlanta, Georgia; and Charlotte, North Carolina, and staffs 23 service facilities across the eastern US.

DeShazo currently has more than 25,000 cranes in service in businesses around the world. In 2021 the company engaged Carl Marks Securities of New York City to support its strategic growth plans. In March 2022 DeShazo acquired Integrated Machinery Solutions of Azle, Texas.
