Donald Nichols

Donald Nichols (born c. 1967 in Chicago, Illinois) is the Postmaster of Birmingham.

Nichols earned his bachelor's degree at Roosevelt University in Chicago and is currently working toward a master's in business administration through the Keller Graduate School of Management. He began working for the Postal Service in 1994 and was assigned to the Birmingham Post Office in April 2009 from Carol Stream, Illinois. He worked as manager of operations program support before being nominated to succeed Samuel Jaudon in July. He was installed on October 23, 2009.

Nichols is married and has seven children.
