Down in the Ham

Down in the Ham is an independent publisher of children's and coloring books and an events weblog. It was founded by Ashley Chesnut with artists Abby Little Jessup and Bethany Hubbard Travers.

Chesnutt had already written her book Down in the Ham, and was on the lookout for potential illustrators when she saw Jessup's painting, Lovingham, at a fundraising auction. She purchased the painting and contacted the artist through Facebook to offer her the commission.
