The Dream Center is a mission outreach of the Church of the Highlands housed in the historic Birmingham Fire Station No. 12 at 5701 1st Avenue North in Woodlawn.

The station and adjacent former Eastern Health Center were purchased from the Jefferson County Health Department for $300,000 and an additional $1.7 million was spent on renovations of the two buildings. It held a grand opening on July 18, 2009 and houses several offices of the church's community and outreach missions. The former county health clinic was modernized and re-opened in March of the same year as the non-profit Christ Health Center.
