The Drennen Building in Pratt City was a commercial block with twelve stores, addressed as "261 Pratt Mines", which was constructed for the Drennen Bros general store, operated by William and Walter M. Drennen.

When the Pratt City Hall and several other buildings burned on May 15, 1895 the Drennen Building was used for government offices.

The Drennen Building itself was burned down in February 1900. Reports suggest that the fire started at a "Negro drug store" which leased space in the building and was testing a new style of lamp.
