Edgewood Frame Shop, located at 1003 Oxmoor Road in Edgewood, provides custom picture framing and restoration services. Grace Eskridge has owned the store since 1986.

History

What would become Edgewood Frame Shop was started as Edgewood Hardware in 1963 at 1016 Oxmoor Road by Tommy Smith. At the time, it was not uncommon for hardware stores to provide picture framing service. Eventually the store changed focus and names. It moved to its current location around 1977, occupying two of three store fronts in the building owned by Tony Pardi and Sam Sicola, who operate Trilogy Leather in the third one. Eskridge began working in the store in 1983 and bought it from Smith in 1986.
