Eyrika Parker

Eyrika Parker (born August 4, 1974 in Birmingham) is an administrator in the Jefferson County Circuit Clerk's office and a former radio producer and host.

Parker graduated from John Carroll Catholic High School in 1992. She studied political science and Japanese at the University of South Alabama, and earned a law degree at the Southern University Law Center in 2002 and an MBA from Emory University's Goizuetta School of Business in 2011.

After earning her law degree, Parker worked in banking to manage compliance during trust department sales. She began working in the Circuit Clerk's office as a document reviewer and project manager in 2005. She hosted a talk show on WJLD-AM from 2014 to 2018.

Parker served on the Hopewell Revitalization Project through Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church in 20152016, and assisted the Jefferson County Courthouse Mural Committee in 2016.

She was one of six Democrats who campaigned for Circuit Clerk in the 2018 Democratic primary. She advanced to the primary runoff, but lost to Jackie Anderson-Smith. In the 2020 primary she ran for Jefferson County Treasurer, and advanced to a primary runoff against Rod Scott.
